From the time we come into this world we are told the next step that we take is the most important step of our life and after that everything will be just smooth sailing and perfect.

Just get to the right school and you are set, just get the best grades and you are set, just get in to the right high school, just get that best exclusive package and you have nothing to worry about, just wait for that perfect partner and all will work out and it just doesn’t stop there. Goes on with a dream of perfect family perfect home and a perfect life. In getting all this we easily forget, who we are, what are we doing and what we really want. |

Compete is what we are supposed to do or else we wont survive in this crazy world. Competition is good but the question is at what price. What are we ready to sacrifice to get to that place? When we turn around we see some pretending to be something they are not, someone that they actually hate being, but just be that way, to get noticed, to be appreciated. In that process they actually turn into what they never liked in the first place and at that point it’s too late to turn back. Making friends just because we have a better chance of scoring higher grade or getting just a small work done. Is that the level we want to stoop down to?

With this race on our minds we are starting to forget the concept of individuality. We have sacrificed our real selves to get to that place and made ourselves into robots who just wake up to do the same things over and over again. No passion no feelings no emotions just saying things coz they sound great, just doing things coz they are supposed to be done. In the end realizing all we did was run in the race and never did anything, which gave us real happiness. |

Its time that we start searching our inner selves what we like what we want then step out into the race without compromising on our individuality and self esteem. Time we start being humans again, time to take off our masks and be the real us.
Can’t do all of that until we know who we are…………
